Formats, inputs, and options
The EMI Calculator is input-based — you type values right in your browser. Nothing ever gets uploaded.
Inputs
- Loan amount — the principal you borrow, in your currency
- Annual interest rate — the yearly rate quoted by your lender (e.g. 8.5%)
- Tenure — the loan term, entered in years or months
Options
- Years or months — switch the tenure unit to match how your lender quotes the term
- Amortization view — toggle between the summary and the full year-by-year schedule
Getting the best results
- Use the annual rate exactly as quoted, including decimals (e.g. 8.5, not 0.085)
- Compare a couple of tenures to see the trade-off between a lower EMI and higher total interest
- Add small part-prepayments to see how much interest you can save over the term
Verdict
The EMI Calculator takes just three inputs and turns them into a clear monthly payment plus a full amortization schedule — all private, all in your browser.
