Frequently Asked Questions

Which exam photo sizes are supported?

Common presets for SSC, UPSC, bank exams, passport services and university forms are built in - typically 20-50 KB within 200-230 pixel width and height ranges. You can also enter exact pixel dimensions and a maximum file size in KB from your form's instructions.

Will my photo meet the KB limit exactly?

The tool targets the maximum size you specify (for example under 50 KB) while keeping the image sharp at 300 DPI. If the form also states a minimum, pick a quality level that lands between both limits - the live size readout updates as you adjust.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. Resizing happens entirely inside your browser, which is ideal when handling identity documents. Nothing is stored, and no account or signup is required.
