Weight Converter not working? Here's how to fix it
Most issues with the Weight Converter are small and fixable in seconds. Work through these in order.
1. The tool won't load
Reload the page, or open it in a fresh tab. If an extension blocks scripts, try private (incognito) mode — Weight Converter needs JavaScript, which is on by default in every modern browser. If you are offline, the tool still works once the page has loaded once.
2. No results appear when I type
Make sure you typed a valid number in the source field using a period for decimals (for example "2.5", not "2,5"). Also confirm you haven't cleared the field. The other fields update only when a numeric value is present.
3. The converted value looks wrong
Check which field is your source. The tool converts from the field you type into — if you expect pounds output but you're typing in the kilograms field, the displayed numbers are based on kilograms. You can switch sources by clicking another unit field.
4. Negative or huge numbers behave oddly
Weight Converter expects positive mass values. While negative numbers are accepted mathematically, results can be confusing. For very large inputs, results may be shown in scientific notation (for example 1.5e+9 for 1.5 billion grams).
5. The Mass table seems incomplete
The Mass table shows the full 16-unit cross-reference. If some rows seem missing, scroll — the grid is wide and may require horizontal scrolling on narrow screens. Rotating to landscape on a phone helps.

Try a different current browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). The tool behaves identically everywhere, so a fresh environment usually resolves the last edge cases.
