Scientific Calculator: inputs and options
Because the Scientific Calculator has no file upload, the "formats" here describe its functions, angle modes, and expression-building options.
Function categories
The calculator provides these groups of functions:
| Category | Functions |
|---|---|
| Arithmetic | +, −, ×, ÷, percent, parentheses |
| Trigonometry | sin, cos, tan and inverses (degrees/radians) |
| Powers & roots | x^2, x^y, square root, more |
| Logarithms | log, ln, and bases |
| Constants | pi, e, and common values |
Angle mode options
- Degrees — for angle values in degrees (0 to 360)
- Radians — for angle values in radians (0 to 2π)
The mode affects only trigonometric functions.
Expression formats
- Numbers with decimals are supported (e.g., 3.14)
- Use brackets to group terms; nested brackets are allowed
- Multi-line input lets you build longer, more readable calculations
- Standard operator precedence applies automatically
Verdict
The Scientific Calculator offers a complete function set with degree/radian control and flexible expression input.
