Resize not working? Here's how to fix it
Most issues are small and fixable in seconds. Work through these in order.
1. The tool won't load
Reload the page or open it in a fresh tab. If an extension blocks scripts, use private (incognito) mode — the tool needs JavaScript, which is on by default in every modern browser.
2. A file won't upload
Check the format and size. The tool accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and AVIF up to 50 MB. Confirm it's a real image in one of those formats.
3. The image looks stretched or squashed
Aspect ratio is off. Turn on maintain aspect ratio, or enter width and height that match the original proportions.
4. The output isn't the size I set
Check which mode you used — custom dimensions vs percentage. If you typed 50, the tool may interpret it as 50 pixels or 50% depending on the mode. Use the intended mode.
5. Nothing downloads
Check your browser's download location and pop-up/file settings. Many browsers quietly block automatic downloads from new sites.
Still stuck?
Try a different current browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Because the tool runs locally, a fresh environment usually resolves remaining edge cases.
Verdict
Most Resize problems are solved by a reload, a supported format, checking the aspect ratio, or a private window.
