Compress not working? Here's how to fix it
Most issues are small and fixable in seconds. Work through these in order.
1. The tool won't load
Reload the page or open it in a fresh tab. If an extension blocks scripts, use private (incognito) mode — the tool needs JavaScript, which is on by default in every modern browser.
2. A file won't upload
Check the format and size. The tool accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP up to 50 MB. Confirm it's a real image in one of those formats.
3. The compress is very slow
Large images take longer because processing is local. Close unused tabs, or resize the image first to speed things up.
4. The compressed image looks blurry
Your quality setting is too low. Raise the quality until the preview looks right — some loss is expected, but it shouldn't look soft.
5. Nothing downloads
Check your browser's download location and pop-up/file settings. Many browsers quietly block automatic downloads from new sites.
